John Faifer is a 29 year old visual artist born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He studied Digital Arts and Multimedia at ESAD Matosinhos, Portugal.

John moved to Portugal in 2015, at the age of 24, which was when he realized he could invest more time in his artistic skills, which had been dormant since his childhood. Since then he has focused on his artistic practice, even in parallel with his studies and jobs. He worked as a graphic designer for a while until he realized that what would really make him happy would be to make art his full-time work. He currently has his studio named by him and Sebastião Paz Costa, artist and partner, with whom he shares the space JUNTO in Esposende, in the rural north of Portugal, where he routinely devotes himself to his practice.
