Jinja designs and produces a large variety of original products, made 100% by hand, through reuse of textile waste.

The Portuguese designer Norma Silva founded Jinja in Porto, in 2012, with the aim of transforming and improving the environment in a sustainable way, by sharing pleasant rituals and products that accompany her daily life.

A respect for nature determines her whole creative process of eco-design. In her collection, she has already partnered with Australian designer Tom Allen, who helped in the creation of Jinja´s business model and marketing strategy, as well as in the design of "drink coolers". Jinja products are produced manually in Portugal and are open to collaboration with designers who present and share the same values.
